Ditch the manual lanyard adjuster, took me 15 years to switch

I used to climb with a traditional rope lanyard and a buckingham adjuster, fussing with it every time I moved around a red oak. Last spring I finally grabbed a mechanical adjuster from a buddy's gear pile and tried it on a big maple removal. The difference in how fast I could reposition and get my cuts lined up was night and day, no more fighting the friction hitch. Now I keep two mechanicals on my saddle for different angles, anyone else make the switch and never look back?

Mechanicals are great, but they still need a hitch cord backup... that's the real game changer.
