That frozen pizza I grabbed during a power outage taught me a lesson
Last winter the power went out for three days straight, and I was living off my emergency stash. Grabbed a frozen pizza from my deep freezer, thawed it on the counter, and cooked it over a camping stove outside. It hit me right then that I had zero plan for cooking without a microwave or oven. Anyone else ever realize their apocalypse menu is missing something obvious like heat?

Camping stove is a game changer but you still gotta prep for it. Built up a whole system with a butane burner and backup propane after my first power outage disaster. Learned the hard way that cooking frozen stuff over a fire pit takes forever and burns half of it. Makes you realize how dependent we are on just hitting a button to get food hot. What else do people forget in their bug out plans besides heat?
