Rant: neighbors think I'm crazy for digging a root cellar but I can't be the only one prepping for EMPs
3 years ago I moved out to a patch of land near Asheville and started digging a root cellar under my shed. My neighbor saw me last month and asked if I was burying a body lol. But here's the thing: I'm not just storing potatoes. I've got a whole setup with Faraday cages for radios and backup drives. Some people say EMPs are overblown and the grid will bounce back in a week. Others say we'll be back to the 1800s for years. Where do you land on the EMP threat vs. just stocking water and ammo?
