Rant: I swapped my 30 year supply of white rice for 5 gallon buckets of hard red wheat and I think most preppers have it backwards

Spent 2 weekends in my garage in Spokane learning to hand mill flour after watching a guy on YouTube show how rice loses most of its food value sitting in buckets for 25 years, so now I keep wheat, a Country Living mill, and a spare set of stones because flour you grind fresh beats rice you stored in 1998, and I want to hear from anyone who has actually eaten 10 year old wheat berries versus 10 year old rice.
