My bug out bag went from 42 lbs to 19 lbs after one trip up a fire road in Flagstaff
I finally weighed it after hauling that thing 3 miles uphill and threw out half my gear that same night, mostly duplicate tools and canned food I never touched. What is the one thing you all ditched that you thought you needed?

Heard a guy on a podcast say he dropped his whole tool kit and just carries a multi tool now.
