Hit 1,000 cans of beans in my basement stash and now I'm questioning everything

So I finally got around to counting this weekend. Threw all my stockpile into a spreadsheet cause my wife kept saying I had too much. 1,038 cans. That's like... 3 years of beans for two people? But the weird thing is I still feel like it's not enough. Anyone else hit a number that was way higher than you thought and just sat there for a minute wondering if you're crazy or just really dedicated?

You do realize you can just buy more beans at the store if you run out, right? This is a lot of sunk cost for something that was on sale for 88 cents a can.

Bro I hit 847 cans of chili last month and had the exact same moment staring at my own spreadsheet like what have I become. Feels like prepping turned into a weird hobby at that point.
