Hit 100 gallons of stored water and it felt way different than I expected
I've been prepping on and off for about 2 years, mostly just stacking cans and buying first aid stuff. Last week I finally hit my goal of 100 gallons of stored water using those 5 gallon stackable jugs from Walmart. I thought it would feel like a big win, but honestly it just kinda hit me how heavy and bulky that much water really is. My whole closet floor is covered in blue jugs and you can't walk through it without knocking one over. It made me realize I need a better system for rotation too because I only used about 20 gallons in the last year. Anyone else get to a storage milestone and then immediately see a dozen problems you didn't think about?

100 gallons is just the beginning. You will trip over those blue jugs constantly until you build proper shelving. Ditch the rotation system and just mark dates with a sharpie.

Oh yeah, I saw a prepper blog that said dates are way more reliable than trying to keep a perfect rotation.
