That moment my panel fell off the wall mid-programming

I was standing on a ladder trying to wire a new Vista 20p last Tuesday and the whole plastic casing popped right off the drywall anchors, sending the board swinging by its transformer wires and scaring the living daylights out of me, so now I always double check that the wall anchors can actually hold more than 5 pounds before I mount anything has anyone else had a panel just pop off like that?

Used toggle bolts instead - never had one pull out since.

My buddy tried the same thing on his garage shelf project last month and he swore by toggle bolts too. @fisher.adam I definitely feel this because I had a similar setup that kept sagging until I swapped to those same bolts from Home Depot. Ran into an old contractor who said he's used them for heavy shelving for years and never looked back.

Used to think toggle bolts were overkill for simple shelves, figured regular anchors would do the job. But after a few of my own shelves sagged and one completely dropped, I gave them a try. @fisher.adam , your post about never having one pull out really sealed it for me. Now I use them for anything heavier than a few books. That old contractor my buddy ran into sounds like a wise guy.
