Question about old-school keypad programming vs. apps
Honestly, I was showing a retired installer, Mr. Henderson from Dayton, how to use the new app for a system last week, and he just shook his head and said, 'Kid, I could program a whole panel blindfolded with just the beeps from a keypad, and I knew it was right.'

@julia_miller24 I used to think apps were better but you totally changed my mind on this.

Read an article saying that old keypad beeps gave a physical feel for the system's state. The installer knew his work was solid because he could hear each step confirm. New apps are fast but feel disconnected from the actual hardware.
