Nearly lost a panel job in Tulsa because of one zip tie trick a guy showed me at a supply counter
I was picking up some 22 gauge wire at a supply house in Tulsa about 3 months back and the guy behind the counter, Dale, told me he always leaves a little slack loop behind the panel instead of pulling everything tight with zip ties. I blew it off for a while, but then I had a panel swap last month where the old wiring was so tight I almost nicked two conductors trying to get them loose. Now I leave about 6 inches of service loop on every can I mount. Any of you run into callbacks from tight wiring, or is it just me overthinking it?
