My worst install day ever was that apartment complex last August

Had 7 back-to-back jobs scheduled and the third one had these old aluminum windows that just refused to take the contact sensors. By job five I was crawling through an attic in 110 degree heat because the previous installer stapled the wire to the wrong stud. Has anyone else dealt with attics that turn into saunas mid-afternoon?

Wait, do you mean a cooling towel you soak in water and wring out? I've always heard those things called evaporative cooling towels, not just cooling towels.

Ngl, have you actually found those cooling towels to work, or is it more of a placebo thing? I tried one once and it got warm in like 10 minutes, felt like I was holding a damp rag against my neck. @danielr94, maybe you got one of the fancy $30 ones, but mine was a total bust for a real sauna session. Honestly, I'd rather just dunk my head in a bucket of cold water between rounds, that actually drops your core temp fast. Tbh, those towels feel like a gimmick to me, especially when you're sitting in literal 200-degree heat.
