Hardwired beats wireless in a 40 unit retrofit in Cleveland

I just finished a 40 unit apartment retrofit in Cleveland and the wireless sales pitch kept coming up. I ran both types side by side for 3 weeks and the wireless panels dropped signal in 4 units because of metal studs and plaster. Hardwired took an extra day per floor but I had zero false alarms and no battery swaps. The customer asked why my quote was higher and I showed them the service call history from the wireless job next door. Anyone else finding that hardwired still saves money on maintenance after 2 years?
