Can we talk about the nightmare crawl space in that 1920s house last month?

Got a job in the historic district. Client wanted a full wired system. Crawl space was maybe two feet high, full of old pipes and cobwebs. Took me three hours just to run one line from the basement to the front door. My back was killing me for two days after. How do you guys handle those tight retrofits without losing your mind?

Man, I feel that. But honestly, for a 1920s house, a two-foot crawl space is almost luxury. I've been in ones where you have to turn your head sideways and shimmy on your belly because it's barely a foot tall. The real nightmare is when they have that old rock wool insulation falling down in your face the whole time. Makes those pipes and cobwebs look easy. Still a brutal job, don't get me wrong, but it could always be worse.

Tyvek suit and a headlamp saved my life down there.

Damn, @wyatt_green31, how do you even breathe in a foot of space?
