Watching a guy at the hangar try to torque a bolt with a regular wrench and a cheater bar

He was putting everything he had into it, face all red, and I realized he didn't know the torque spec was only 35 foot-pounds. I had to stop him before he stretched the bolt or cracked the fitting. How do you guys handle seeing someone about to make a basic but costly mistake?

Ever see someone try to open a jar that's already been opened? I just watch them struggle for a minute before I say anything.
