Wasted $150 on a digital micrometer that promised 0.0001 accuracy
Bought one of those fancy budget micrometers off Amazon last spring and it drifted by 0.002 after two months on the hangar floor. Anyone else had luck with a specific brand that actually holds up to shop conditions?

Yeah, "shop conditions" is right - my garage swings 10 degrees and my cheap one went haywire too.
