The shift in how we log torque checks, night shift vs day shift

I came back from vacation last month and noticed something big. My old crew logged every torque strip on paper and signed off like clockwork. Now the new guy logs it all in the tablet app, but he only does it after his shift ends. Today I found five bolts with dry strips because the data entry got skipped. The FAA paperwork still passes, but the trail feels hollow. Anyone else see this split between the old hands and the digital crowd?
