That 14 hour shift in Tucson that nearly broke me

Last Thursday we had a Gulfstream come in with a hydraulic leak that turned into a full day mess. The A/C pack decided to quit right after we got the leak patched, so I spent 4 hours chasing a bad temp sensor behind the avionics bay. By the time I found it, my back was cooked from kneeling on the access panel and I had skinned knuckles from a hose clamp that would not budge. The funny part is the fix was a $38 part and a zip tie, but the hunt took forever because the wiring diagram was two revisions out of date. We finally got the bird back in the air at 9 PM, and I sat in the hangar eating a cold burrito watching the sunset. Has anyone else had a day where the simplest gremlin cost you the whole shift? I swear that sensor was hiding on purpose.
