Stop reusing old O-rings on gear struts, seriously
Had a Cessna 172 come in last week after a gear rebuild where someone reused the O-rings from the old seals to save $40. They were dried out and cracked, and the strut leaked fluid all over the hangar floor by day two. I know parts are backordered sometimes, but has anyone else seen shops cut corners like this on retract actuators lately?
