Spent 6 hours chasing a phantom hydraulic leak on a Cessna 172. Turned out to be a cracked O-ring on the reservoir cap vent line.

Those tiny O-rings can cause such a huge headache. I mean, you check all the big stuff first and it's something stupid like a 50 cent part. Makes you want to just replace every seal on the plane sometimes.

Tell me about it. Feels like the universe picks the cheapest part to fail just to mess with you. Might as well start every job with a bucket of new seals.
