Lost $120 on a digital torque adapter that never fit my hangar work
Bought one of those fancy Bluetooth torque adapters off Amazon thinking it'd speed up my inspections at the regional line here in Tulsa. Turns out the clearance on it was too fat to get into half the tight spots on a CRJ flap linkage, so it just sat in my box for 2 months. Return window closed, so I'm out $120 and back to my old beam-style wrench. Anyone else get burned by a gadget that looked good in the demo video but failed on the actual airframe?
