Update: Air fryer kale chips convinced me to snack smarter
I always avoided kale chips because oven baking seemed slow. Then I saw a friend use her air fryer for them. I tried it myself, just tearing kale, spraying a bit of oil, and adding salt. After five minutes at 375 degrees, they come out crispy every time. Now I prepare a batch each week instead of buying chips. This routine saves cash and tastes amazing. I even got my kids to enjoy them without fuss. What convinced me was how simple and fast it is.

Honestly why did we wait so long for air fryers? @charles_scott93 is totally right about the sweet potato fries, and the kale chips just prove it more. The speed is no joke, like you get that crispy snack fix without heating up the whole kitchen for an hour. I messed around with different stuff too, like broccoli or even chickpeas, and it all just works. It seriously makes snacking feel less like a big production.

It's part of that shift where gadgets finally make healthy habits fit into real life, in my experience.

Tried making sweet potato fries in the air fryer after my shift last night. Just sliced them thin, tossed in olive oil and paprika, and they crisped up in ten minutes. Makes you wonder why we ever bothered with the oven, right? Now I have a go-to snack that doesn't take forever.
