Tried frozen fries versus fresh-cut potatoes in the air fryer last night

The fresh ones, tossed in a little oil and salt, were way crispier and tasted more like actual potatoes (my friend called them 'diner-style'). Anyone have a favorite seasoning blend for homemade fries?

My go-to is smoked paprika and garlic powder. Works every time.

Smoked paprika is such a game changer lol. I started adding a pinch of cayenne to that combo and it's next level.

Yeah, and like the_david said, a little cayenne really does kick it up.
