TIL you can't just throw frozen chicken tenders in the air fryer without flipping them halfway
I learned this the hard way last Tuesday night. I was starving after a long day at work and tossed a bag of frozen tenders in my Cosori at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Figured the air fryer would just do its magic like it always does. Nope. When I pulled them out, the tops were golden brown and crispy but the bottoms were pale and soggy like they had been steamed. I broke one in half and the coating just slid right off. So I had to put them back in for another 5 minutes flipped over and even then the texture was wrong. Has anyone else had this issue with frozen chicken or is it just me? I'm wondering if I need to spray the basket with oil too.

Yeah the frozen stuff always needs a flip halfway or the bottoms stay sad and doughy. I spray a tiny bit of avocado oil on the basket first and that helps the underside crisp up too.

Respectfully, I flip mine before they even go in. Give them a hard shake halfway through and never had the doughy bottom problem. The oil trick makes sense though, might give that a shot.
