Showerthought: I used to think air fryers were just for frozen junk, but a friend in Denver proved me wrong last month.
She made perfect crispy Brussels sprouts with just oil and salt, and now I use mine almost every day. What's the best vegetable you've found for the air fryer?

Actually, Denver is known for being high altitude, which can mess with cooking times. Maybe your friend had to adjust for that.
But yeah, Brussels sprouts are amazing in there. I do broccoli florets until they get those little crispy bits.

Wait, @jadew63, you can get broccoli crispy in an air fryer? I always burn it.

My air fryer manual says to cut broccoli into one inch pieces and cook at 380 for ten minutes. I swear every single kitchen gadget needs its own translation guide from the factory settings. I've had to learn a different set of rules for my mom's model, my sister's, and the one at my old apartment. It's less about cooking and more about decoding what the machine actually means by "crispy".
