My air fryer basket coating started peeling after 3 months

I bought a new air fryer back in February and the nonstick coating on the basket started flaking off last week. Little black pieces ended up all over my frozen chicken nuggets and I didn't notice until I bit into one. I immediately stopped using it and checked the manufacturer's website for any recalls or warnings. Turns out the coating was just cheap and they told me it's normal wear and tear. Has anyone else dealt with flaking coating from a newer air fryer?

Did you check if the warranty covers the basket separate from the whole unit lol?

Man that's rough, peeling after only 3 months is ridiculous for something that's supposed to be nonstick. Honestly I'd be leaving a bad review and keeping on them for a replacement if it were me.
