I was a total air fryer skeptic until I caved and bought one on clearance

My buddy kept going on about his air fryer for like a year and I thought it was just another gadget that would collect dust. Then I found a basic model for $30 at a Target sale and figured why not. The first thing I made was frozen chicken wings and they came out crispier than my oven ever did in half the time. I timed it - 20 minutes compared to 40 and no preheating. Now I use it for everything from reheating pizza to making roasted potatoes on a weeknight. Anyone else here take forever to get on board with air fryers?

Ngl those frozen wings were my exact turning point too.

@dakota_nelson43 see, I actually think the frozen wings were a total letdown. They got way too much hype and the coating was soggy after microwaving, not crispy like everyone said. Regular fresh wings from the deli section cook up way better every time.

See, I had the COMPLETE opposite experience with those frozen wings - they crisped up perfectly in my air fryer every single time.
