I bought a $12 air fryer rack that warped after two uses

It was one of those add-on racks that sits inside the basket, supposed to let you cook two layers at once. The first time I used it for some frozen fries, it seemed fine. The second time, with chicken wings at 400 degrees, it came out bent like a taco shell. Now it doesn't sit flat at all. Has anyone found a decent multi-level rack that actually holds up?

Used to think any cheap rack would do the job until mine did the exact same thing with some potato wedges. The thin wire just can't handle that direct high heat without losing its shape. I finally caved and got one with much thicker, coated steel rods, and it hasn't bent at all, even with a full load of wings.

But is it really worth spending a lot more on a rack? I've had a cheap one for years, oliver2, and yeah it sags a little in the middle... but it still holds my food up off the pan.

Potato wedges did that? Mine always come out fine on the cheap rack. Piper_burns has a point about it still working, but seeing a full rack of wings stay straight is pretty convincing. Guess the thicker metal really does make a difference.
