Had to pick between wings and fries at a party last weekend

My buddy Mark threw a Super Bowl thing and asked me to bring the air fryer snacks. I had to choose between buffalo wings and seasoned fries because his air fryer is the 5.8 quart model and could only do one batch. I went with the wings since they take longer and they came out crispy in 22 minutes at 380 degrees. Anyone else end up stuck making one dish when you wanted to show off two?

22 minutes at 380 is my go to wing time too.

Buddy of mine tried that exact time and temp but forgot to pat his wings dry first. Came out more steamed than crispy, total waste of a good batch.

Learned that one the hard way myself, Grant. Now I set my wings out on a baking sheet in the fridge for an hour or two before they even see the oven. That dry air does wonders for the skin, and a light dusting of cornstarch never hurts either. Definitely beats a sad, soggy batch like your buddy got.
