Air fryer tofu blew my mind last Tuesday
I was skeptical but I cubed up a block of extra firm tofu, tossed it in a little cornstarch and soy sauce, and threw it in the air fryer at 375 for 15 minutes. It came out super crispy on the outside and soft inside, not like the sad rubbery stuff I used to pan fry. My roommate walked in and asked if I was making chicken nuggets. Has anyone else had luck with veggies like broccoli or brussels sprouts in the air fryer?

Oh great, another kitchen gadget that makes me think I'm actually good at cooking when really it's just hot air doing all the work! Is the air fryer gonna start doing my laundry next?

Oh man, yes. The air fryer tofu is a total game changer. I was in the same boat for years making that rubbery sad pan fried stuff. For broccoli, toss it in a little oil and salt, then do 375 for about 10 minutes. It gets those nice crispy brown edges without turning into mush. Brussels sprouts work too but you gotta halve them and give them a good shake halfway through. Honestly the air fryer makes me eat way more vegetables just because they actually taste good now.
