Went from tuning guitar by ear for 15 years to using an AI tuner app last month

I used to spend 10 minutes every practice session trying to match notes with a pitch pipe (or my phone's tone generator). Then a buddy at an open mic in Austin showed me this AI tuner that adjusts in real time while you strum. It listens to the chord and tells you exactly which string is off by cents, not just sharp or flat. Now I'm dialed in under 30 seconds and can actually focus on playing instead of ear strain. Has anyone else switched from old school methods to AI tools for basic music stuff?

Does that app work okay with alternate tunings or just standard?

Yeah totally second that. I jumped straight into drop D and open G with it and it picked everything up perfect, no issues at all. Actually surprised me how well it handled weird tunings.
