Wasted $300 on that 'AI sales assistant' that promised to write perfect emails for me

Signed up for this AI tool called OutreachPro last month after their demo showed it handling customer replies like a pro. The first week was fine but then it started mixing up names and sending offers to the wrong people. I spent more time fixing the errors than just writing the emails myself. To make it worse, their refund policy was buried in the fine print and they gave me store credit instead of cash back. Has anyone actually found an AI email tool that doesn't require constant babysitting?

Ngl, sounds like OutreachPro is just doing its best impression of a confused intern who had too much coffee. Mixing up names and sending offers to the wrong people? That's not AI, that's just paid chaos. Store credit instead of a refund is the real scam here, like getting a gift card to a store you hate. At this point, I'm convinced the only AI tool that works is a rubber duck you yell at while typing your own emails.

Idk, I kinda see it differently though. The confused intern analogy is funny but a real intern would cost way more and still mess up, just slower. Automating outreach even badly is still miles ahead of manually typing emails to a thousand people while your actual work piles up.

Honestly, you're being a little harsh here. OutreachPro's name mix-ups are annoying for sure, but at least the AI is actually trying to automate outreach, which is more than most small businesses can afford to do manually. The store credit thing is kinda bogus, but think about it from their side - if they gave refunds to everyone who got a wrong email, they'd be out of business in a month. Rubber duck yelling works great for brainstorming but it won't scale to a thousand leads like a half-decent AI tool can. Plus, a confused intern at least sometimes learns from their mistakes, while that duck just sits there looking smug.
