The demo at the Austin library last month sold me on AI tutors for my kid
I sat in on a free AI tutoring demo at the Austin public library on a Saturday last month and it honestly flipped my whole view on this stuff. My daughter is 9 and hates math, but she sat there for 40 minutes working with a chatbot that adjusted to her wrong answers instead of just marking them red. The part that got me was when it noticed she kept mixing up place value and switched its whole way of explaining without anyone typing a thing. The librarian said 30 kids cycled through that day and most didn't want to leave. Is anyone else seeing these pop up in schools or libraries near them?
Saw the same thing at our library in Round Rock a couple months back. My son actually asked to go back the next weekend, which never happens with anything school related. The way it just switches up when the kid gets stuck is the whole thing for me.
