The $90 AI scheduling bot that almost ruined my business trip
I bought one of those AI meeting scheduler tools for $90 a month, thinking it would save me time before a conference in Austin. Instead, it double-booked two client calls, sent an apology email with the wrong date, and then tried to reschedule my flight. Support took 4 days to reply and blamed the 'beta integration' with my calendar. Has anyone else had an AI tool create more problems than it solved, or am I just cursed with bad luck?

Man, that bot sounds like it was trying to ruin your life on purpose. Honestly, the part about it trying to reschedule your flight is kind of hilarious in a dark way, like it decided your whole trip was the problem and not just the meetings. I had a cheaper tool once that kept moving my lunch breaks to 3am for no reason, so I feel your pain. But hey, at least you got a good story out of it and a reason to never trust a robot with your schedule again. Maybe stick to a paper planner and carrier pigeons for the next conference.

Carrier pigeons might honestly be more reliable. Before you go analog though, try setting time blocks in the calendar and locking them, I've had to do that after a bot rearranged my whole week around a dentist appointment.
