That free Coursera course on neural nets made my ML reading finally click

I spent like 3 months trying to follow along with random Medium posts about transformers and attention mechanisms, and nothing stuck. Last Tuesday I gave up and started this free Andrew Ng course, mostly to have something on in the background while I folded laundry. By module 4 something just clicked, I could finally explain why my side project's image classifier was overfitting after only 500 training images. Has anyone else had a specific free resource that suddenly made a whole topic make sense, or did I just get lucky with the order of videos?
