That AI resume scanner subscription was pure frustration

Signed up for a monthly AI resume tool at $29.99 because I was job hunting in Austin and heard it could tailor my resume to each listing. It kept spitting out generic suggestions that ignored my actual electrician apprentice history, and once it literally recommended adding a fake skill I never had. I stopped the subscription after 2 weeks, but I basically burned $60 across two attempts. Anyone else tried these scanner sites and found they work better for office jobs than trades?
