Serious question, has anyone else lost money on those 'AI-powered' stock trading bots?
I put $300 into one that promised to analyze market trends, and it just mirrored the S&P 500's worst week, losing me nearly a quarter of my investment before I pulled the plug.

Sounds like the AI learned to trade from my uncle who buys high and sells low.

People keep acting like this AI is some kind of trading wizard but it's probably just pattern matching in a garbage dataset lol. The market isn't some repeatable puzzle you can solve by looking at old charts, it reacts to real world stuff like news and random chaos. Feels like we're giving it more credit than it deserves just because it's an algorithm.
