My nephew asked his smart speaker to write his book report on 'Charlotte's Web' last night.
It made me think about how we used to just get a stack of notecards from the library for that stuff. Anyone else feel like the line between using a tool and outsourcing the thinking is getting really blurry lately?

My cousin tried that and the summary called Wilbur a spider.

Yeah, those auto summaries can get things totally wrong. It makes you wonder, like Simon717 said, how you're supposed to learn from a tool that mixes up basic facts. If it called a character a spider, what else did it get wrong in the chapter? I'd be double checking everything after that.
