My $30 MIDI controller just taught me more than all my online AI music courses combined

Last Tuesday in my Austin studio, I was mapping drum pads to an AI sampler for a track, and it hit me that the machine's real skill wasn't writing riffs, it was adapting to my sloppy timing, has anyone else noticed the best AI tools just work around your flaws instead of forcing you to be perfect?

Threw my $40 knockoff at the wall last week when it kept quantizing my ghost notes to death. Yeah, the AI just learned my lazy left hand and started swinging everything slightly late. Better than any theory course I paid for. Now it just makes my mistakes sound like choices.
