I used to manually check drug interactions on my phone until an AI assistant at our hospital caught a deadly combo in under 2 seconds last week
Our EHR's AI flagged a patient on warfarin about to get an antibiotic that would have sent their INR through the roof, and the old way I'd have missed it during a 3 AM shift scramble has anyone else had an AI catch something their human brain just couldn't process fast enough?

Saw a study about this actually... something like 60% of serious med errors happen because doctors are just trying to move too fast. AI catching that warfarin interaction in two seconds is wild, especially when you're running on no sleep and a coffee IV drip. The human brain just wasn't built to juggle that many drug names and interactions during a code situation. It's almost like having a second set of eyes that never gets tired or distracted.

@tyler_wilson yeah that study hits hard. Nothing like running on pure adrenaline and caffeine to make you miss something obvious. Having something that just quietly catches the stuff your brain is too fried to see is honestly kind of a lifesaver.
