I thought AI writing tools were just fancy spell check until I tried one for my kid's school project
We were stuck on a report about the solar system, and I gave Jasper a shot to help with the intro. It actually came up with a cool fact about Jupiter's storms that we hadn't found in our books. Has anyone else had an AI tool surprise them with something actually useful?

I tried using ChatGPT for a recipe once and it told me to add vanilla to chili. That's the level of help I usually get. Sure, it found a Jupiter fact, but did you check if it was actually true? These tools are great at sounding confident while being completely wrong. I'd trust a library book over an AI for a kid's project any day.

Vanilla in chili sounds weird but is it really a big deal for a kid's project?

Check the fact on NASA's website first. Used one for a client proposal once and it gave me wrong square footage. They're tools, not experts.
