I just wasted $150 on an AI art generator subscription that couldn't get hands right (even after 200 tries).

Has anyone found a good tool for that specific problem, or is it still a universal AI struggle?

Hands are still the big tell for AI art in my experience. Some of the newer image models are getting better at simple poses, like an open palm. But ask for a hand holding a coffee mug or making a peace sign, and you'll still get weird extra fingers or twisted wrists. It's a tough problem because hands are so complex. Your best bet right now is to use a good in-painting tool to fix the hands after the fact, or just plan on editing them yourself.

Spot on about the hands. It's the same with a lot of tech now. Gets the big, obvious stuff right but falls apart on the small, complicated details. Makes the whole thing feel just a bit off, like a house with a fresh coat of paint over a cracked foundation. You notice it everywhere once you start looking.

Is it really still that bad? I've seen some recent stuff where the hands look okay, not perfect but way better than the horror shows from a year ago. Maybe @the_thomas is just more picky than me, but I feel like the small details are finally getting some real attention.
