Frustrated with people calling basic chatbots "AI", it's ruining real discussions

I jumped into this community hoping to talk about actual machine learning stuff, but half the posts are just about some chat widget that can barely handle 3 questions before breaking. Last week someone here called a script that auto-replies to emails a "deep learning innovation", like come on. How do you guys filter out the noise in here?

Ugh, tell me about it lol. It's like every little script that says "hello" back to you gets called AI now. I've seen people call a PHP contact form generator a "neural network solution" and I almost lost it. The hype bubble is just so massive that actual ML discussions get buried under all that basic stuff. Honestly, I just scroll past anything that sounds like marketing jargon and hope for the best.
