ChatGPT fixed my resume, the AI screening bots flagged it immediately

I ran my resume through ChatGPT last month to modernize the wording, and then applied to 12 jobs in Seattle. Got zero callbacks, but my old plain text version from 2021 got me two interviews before that. The AI polished it so much it probably matched too many common templates, so the ATS systems saw it as generic. Has anyone else seen their application rate drop after using AI to rewrite their resume?
