Warning: Letting an AI pick my dinner ruined date night
Last Friday I let a meal planning app decide between two recipes: a fancy salmon dish or my grandma's meatloaf. I picked the salmon option because the AI said it was healthier and faster to cook. My girlfriend took one bite, laughed, and said it tasted like cardboard with lemon. She ended up ordering pizza while I ate a cold piece of fish. Has anyone else trusted an algorithm over your gut and totally regretted it?

You let an ALGORITHM pick between salmon and your GRANDMA'S MEATLOAF? That's like choosing a GPS voice over your grandmother's actual voice.

Yeah, have you noticed how much we've handed over to algorithms lately? It's not just food, it's music, movies, even who we date. I get that it's convenient, but there's something real lost when you stop trusting your own gut or the people who know you best. My grandma's meatloaf recipe has been passed down through three generations, and sure, it's not fancy or healthy, but it's comfort food with a story behind it. An algorithm can't taste your childhood, you know? I'm just worried we're slowly forgetting how to make small decisions without a screen telling us what to do. It's the little stuff like this that adds up to a bigger change in how we live.
