The AI recruiter called my 14 year work history 'insufficient'
Last Thursday I spent 40 minutes filling out a job application for a logistics coordinator role in Phoenix. The system flagged my resume because I didn't use the exact phrase 'supply chain optimization' in my last three roles. I tried calling the HR number and got a bot that kept asking if I wanted to schedule an interview, but I couldn't reach a human. Then the rejection email landed at 7pm, same minute I submitted. Is it just me, or are these filters killing qualified people before anyone actually looks? Has anyone else had a bot tell you your actual experience is a red flag?

Machines grading humans is the dumbest HR trend yet.

...though honestly I think people are acting like this is some new dystopian nightmare when half the time the "machine" is just a checklist that a human still has to override anyway. @jones.anna I get the frustration, but I've seen way worse damage done by one biased manager who had a grudge than any buggy AI scoring system. The real issue is companies using any tool as an excuse to skip talking to actual candidates, not the grading itself.
