Spent 3 hours trying to get an AI customer service bot to understand my package was damaged, not lost

Had a delivery where the box was clearly crushed. The automated system only had options for 'lost' or 'stolen.' Every time I typed 'damaged,' it just looped back to the main menu. Finally got a human after what felt like forever. Makes you wonder if these systems are built to actually solve problems or just filter people out. Anyone else hit a wall with an AI that just couldn't grasp a simple real-world situation?

Read an article that said these bots are often trained on perfect customer service scripts, not messy real life problems. So a crushed box just doesn't compute. It's like they built the system for a world where nothing ever gets dented.

Feels like they design these systems to wear you down.

Only options for 'lost' or 'stolen'? That's wild.
