Showerthought: AI moderation flagged my bug report as spam
I spent 3 hours debugging a Python script last week, only to realize the AI-powered forum filter had silently deleted my error query. Had to manually email a human to get it posted - took another 45 minutes just to explain why my code wasn't offensive.

My buddy Mike had the same thing happen on a developer forum last month. He posted a detailed bug report about a memory leak in his database connector. The AI flagged it as "abusive content" because he used the word "crash" 3 times. He spent a whole afternoon trying to figure out why nobody responded to his thread. Turned out the filter just buried it with zero notification. Eventually he had to DM a moderator on Twitter to get someone to look at it. The moderator laughed and said the AI was too sensitive after a recent update.

Man, that moderator probably needed a beer after dealing with that nonsense.

I used to think AI moderation was a good idea but honestly this kind of thing changes my mind. What good is a filter that just buries stuff with no warning? Seems like it causes more problems than it solves.
