Serious question, I saw a robot making coffee in a Denver airport and it felt wrong

It was a full machine with arms, not just a fancy vending machine. The guy who used to run that cart was gone, and it made me think about who we're okay with replacing. Has anyone else had a moment like that, where automation just felt too close to home?

Ugh, it's happening everywhere now.

Absolutely! I saw it twice just yesterday. A woman was on her phone the whole time in the checkout line, didn't even look at the cashier. Then at the cafe, a table of four kids, all silent, just staring at their screens. It feels like basic manners have just vanished.

Miles946, is it really happening everywhere though... or are we just seeing more posts about it? Sometimes these things get talked up online and seem bigger than they are. I haven't noticed much of it in my own day to day life. It might just be a few loud examples getting repeated. People tend to focus on the bad stuff and share it more.
