My boss told me our hiring bot was tossing out resumes from state colleges
He said the training data was full of Ivy League profiles, so it learned to filter for 'prestige'. I had to manually add a thousand public school examples to the set last week. How do you even begin to fix bias you didn't code in?

Just teach it to read the actual resume.

Man, that's the whole problem with everything now. It's like we keep adding layers of tech that miss the simple point. Why make a robot guess the resume when you could just, you know, read it?
