I finally stopped using AI to write my emails after a client called me out
One client straight up said my emails sounded like a robot wrote them. I switched to typing them myself, even the boring ones, and my response rate went up by 20 percent in a month. Has anyone else had people clock your AI writing and call you on it?

Oh man that's rough but kinda funny too. But just a heads up, that 20 percent bump might not be from switching to human writing alone. Could be you're just putting more care into the emails now, like double checking them or making them more personal. I had a similar thing happen with a vendor who noticed my "polished" emails and said they missed my old scattered style lol.

Wait, your client actually said they missed your old scattered style? That's wild to me. I mean who says that out loud? I would have been so thrown off if someone told me they preferred my messy emails over the polished ones. That 20 percent bump thing makes sense though, maybe it is just the extra care you're putting in now. Idk, it's kind of funny how people can tell when we're trying too hard to sound professional.
